Penalty minimum of $1,000 for short selling

Hi guys! I have something to share especially if you're doing some trading in Singapore. My broker just inform me that there're some penalty charges upon short selling.

As what my broker emailed to me, he mentioned that from Thursday, September 25, 2008, short selling of shares listed in SGX, (sell share without owning the share in CDP) there will be a penalty fee of 5% of the value of the failed trade subject to a minimum of $1,000.

I agree to what MM Lee says SWFs should not be lumped as a single entity

On Thursday, September 11, 2008, I was on the net surfing for some information pertaining to some earthquakes which happen in Japan and Indonesia.
